About the estate

The family-run Kronenbergerhof estate is located in sunny Hackenheim in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The roots of the winery date back to the 18th century, when the Kronenberger family originally operated a mixed agricultural business. Today, the winery is managed across generations by Matthias Kronenberger, a trained winemaker and certified agricultural manager who applies his expertise to the cellar. The portfolio of grape varieties includes Spätburgunder, Dornfelder, Blauer Portugieser, St. Laurent, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Scheurebe. The winemaking encompasses traditional red and white wines as well as specialties such as a Spätburgunder vinified as a Blanc de Noir and the sparkling Kronsecco Rosé.
