About the estate

The KOZARA s.r.o winery in Šenkvice was founded in 2015 by Ing. Peter Maček and Branislav Strašiftak, who come from winemaking families with a tradition spanning over fifty years. The estate farms four hectares of its own vineyards across various sites in Šenkvice and also sources grapes from local growers. The portfolio focuses on grape varieties typical of the Malokarpatská vinohradníckea oblasť and Slovak new varieties with a distinct typicity. Through the construction of modern facilities, the estate aims for sustainable production of wines whose grapes originate exclusively from the Modra wine-growing region.
