About the estate
The Kolaja Jiří winery based in Ježov was founded in 1991 and is one of the smaller producers in the region. The estate cultivates almost one hectare of its own vineyards around Ježov, Skalka, and Žeravice, supplementing the harvest with grapes purchased from regular suppliers. The wine cellars are located in the neighboring municipality of Skalka, featuring two historical cellars alongside a new cellar built in 2005. Following the completion of the new facility, the estate transitioned from producing bulk wine to bottling quality wines. The portfolio includes a range of grape varieties from Müller Thurgau and Grüner Veltliner to Cabernet Moravia and Agni.
The eno directory lists 23 wines, mostly from Svatovavřinecké and Zweigeltrebe.
