About the estate

The Bioweingut Otto Knaus estate is located in Gamlitz in South Styria and looks back on a centuries-old family history. The winery has practiced consistent organic agriculture from the vineyard to the glass since the year 2000 and has demonstrably avoided using plastic in the vineyard for fifteen years. In addition to winemaking, the property features the first certified organic wine tavern in Styria, which was established in 2005. Furthermore, guided tours through the organic vineyard and wine tastings are offered by appointment.
