Joiseph

About the estate

The Joiseph estate was founded in January 2015 by Richard Artner, Xandl Kagl and Luka Zeichmann and operates as a small natural wine workshop. The winery farms nearly 4 hectares of vineyards on limestone and slate soils in the best sites at the foot of the Leitha Mountains in Jois. Farming is conducted organically and the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. The cellar produces natural, wild-fermented, unfiltered and unfined wines with an individual character. In addition to wines, the property also crafts Pet Nats, grape juices and verjus.
