About the estate
The Il Poggio di Gavi estate is located in Piedmont on the historic Rovereto hill in Gavi and is run as a family business. In 2003, the owner took over the farmhouse and revived the vineyards, with official production starting in 2004. Today, production amounts to around 40,000 bottles, which are exported worldwide. The focus is on Gavi DOCG, a traditional white wine that reflects the local terroir. Management practices include avoiding herbicides and insecticides while relying exclusively on organic fertilization.
