About the estate
The Iago estate is located in the village of Chardakhi in the Kartli region and focuses on organic viticulture and natural winemaking. The winery cultivates two hectares of vineyards with sixty-year-old vines in the Mukhrani Valley. Using the indigenous grape variety Chinuri, the cellar produces ten thousand bottles of traditional Qvevri wines annually in white and amber styles. The entire production is exported. Farming is carried out using ecological methods combined with traditional Georgian winemaking practices.
