About the estate

The I Balzini estate was founded in 1980 by Vincenzo D’Isanto in Barberino Tavarnelle, Tuscany, with the aim of producing distinctive Supertuscan wines outside traditional regulations. The vineyards are planted with Tuscan grape varieties such as Sangiovese and Mammolo alongside Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Following the involvement of his wife Antonella and the takeover by their daughter Diana D’Isanto in 2017, the winery has focused consistently on ecological sustainability and organic viticulture. Management relies entirely on estate-grown grapes that are harvested by hand. The portfolio comprises various wines named after label colors or projects, which are distributed internationally.
