About the estate
The Hooperhayne Vineyard estate is situated in Devon on the south-facing slopes of the Coly Valley. The project was established in April 2012 by Jane Houldsworth after soil suitability was identified and advisors were appointed. Nearly half of the vineyard area is planted with the Bacchus grape variety, which is used to produce still white wine. Pinot Noir serves as the other main grape variety, yielding both a dry rosé wine and a sparkling wine. The vineyard is managed by the owner alongside a team.
