About the estate

The Baumgartner family winery manages 20 hectares of vineyards in the Kamptal region and is based in Gobelsburg as well as Zöbing am Heiligenstein in Lower Austria. The estate is run by brothers Bernd and Karl Baumgartner, who view their connection to nature as the foundation for their work. The portfolio under the Kamptal DAC designation features regional wine styles such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Burgundy cuvées, and robust red wines. These wines are produced through careful vineyard management and manual labor with the aim of reflecting the region's soils and nature. In addition to winemaking, the family runs a wine tavern in Zöbing.
