About the estate
The Gustave Lorentz estate in Bergheim farms 45 hectares of vineyards and produces around 1.6 million bottles of wine annually, with a significant portion being exported to numerous countries worldwide. The winery is fully converted to organic agriculture and has been certified by Ecocert since 2012. The portfolio includes wines from the renowned sites Altenberg and Kanzlerberg, cultivating traditional grape varieties such as Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris. Vinification takes place in modern cellar facilities using gentle methods, and the team also works in close cooperation with selected local grape growers from the surrounding area.
The estate sells to importers and horeca.
