About the estate
The Gruber estate is a traditional family winery located in Rust, with a history dating back to 1647. Cultivating six hectares of vineyards in prime locations, the estate produces 65 percent white wines and 35 percent red wines. The grape variety portfolio includes Welschriesling, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, and Merlot. Vinification takes place in the historic sandstone cellar, utilizing stainless steel tanks for white wines and wooden barrels for reds.
