Grand vin de Barnag

About the estate

The Grand vin de Barnag estate was founded in 2017 by winemaker Szilágyi Bence in the Balaton region. As a first-generation winemaker in his family, he took over his father's former hobby vineyard and converted it to organic cultivation. The winery is entirely dedicated to the production of natural wine, crafted with minimal intervention and without the use of additives or filtration. Despite very small production volumes, the small Balaton-region winery now exports its wines to nine different countries. The distinctive bottle labels feature custom-designed graphics depicting motifs from a historical copper engraving series.
