About the estate

The Gollenz estate is located in Tieschen within the Styrian Volcano Land and was converted into a dedicated winery by Alois Gollenz as a first-generation winemaker, with the first official vintage bottled in 2007. The family-run business cultivates vineyards on mineral soils of volcanic origin that are shaped by a long geological history. The portfolio includes traditional Burgundian varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris, alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer, and Riesling, which are produced as regional, local, and single-vineyard wines according to the DAC pyramid. The wines reflect the mild climate and the geological characteristics of the region. Distribution takes place both directly from the estate and through selected retail partners.
