About the estate
The GOGU winery is a family-run estate located in Căușeni within the Ștefan Vodă region of the Republic of Moldova, founded by winemaker Ilie Gogu and his wife Svetlana. The vineyards cover approximately ten hectares and benefit from the excellent soils and microclimate of the southeastern part of the country. Winemaker Ilie Gogu personally oversees every stage from planting to bottling to create wines reflecting a personal vision of taste balance. Since the first bottles appeared on the market in 2014, the estate has produced characterful wines in often limited volumes that have achieved domestic and international recognition. Production includes wines from the protected geographical indications Codru IGP, Ștefan Vodă IGP, and Valul lui Traian IGP.
