About the estate
The Godeval winery was founded in 1986 with the aim of recovering the native white grape variety Godello in the Valdeorras denomination. The estate cultivates two hectares of its own vineyards and produces around 150,000 litres of wine annually. Vinification takes place within the historical premises of the Mosteiro de Xagoaza as well as in modern facilities inaugurated in 2009. The company exports approximately 30 percent of its production to numerous international markets including the USA, Great Britain and Japan.
