About the estate
The Gianfranco Fino Viticoltore estate was founded in 2004 with the acquisition of a small Primitivo vineyard. The vineyard area spans 1.3 hectares, where vines are predominantly cultivated using the traditional Apulian alberello system on clayey limestone soils. Vineyard management is meticulous with all operations performed manually, and harvesting takes place at first light to transport the selected grapes in refrigerated trucks. The wines mature for at least nine months in 228-litre French oak barriques. In 2021, a new winery with a wine resort was established in the countryside of Manduria.
