About the estate
The Gentilini winery was established in 1978 on the Greek island of Kefalonia after the founder Spiro Kosmetatos planted his first vines. Today, the family-run estate spans ten hectares of vineyards and focuses on local grape varieties as well as producing characterful wines. In 2002, the next generation consisting of daughter Marianna and her husband Petros Markantonatos took over the management of the estate. Alongside a core range of wines, the portfolio includes annual experimental bottlings, with quantities purposely kept low to maintain high quality standards.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Robola and Vostilidi. The estate sells to importers, distributors, horeca and retail. Export markets include France, Germany and Belgium.
