About the estate

The Freitag family winery has been rooted for generations in Jois in northern Burgenland. The vineyards are situated at the foot of the Leitha Mountains, where the influence of Lake Neusiedl and cooling winds shape the climate. The soils consist of Leitha limestone and mica schist, imparting a characteristic mineral structure to the wines. Located at the main square of the municipality, the estate produces a traditional portfolio combining craftsmanship and origin. Distribution takes place directly at the winery as well as via telephone and email.
