The Fitz-Ritter estate in Bad Dürkheim looks back on a long history and is managed today in the ninth generation by Johann Fitz. The winery cultivates 25 hectares of vineyards in the famous sites of the Mittelhaardt, which includes the historic monopole site Abtsfronhof. All vineyards are managed under sustainable organic practices, placing emphasis on manual labor, natural organic fertilizers, and selective harvesting. The wines acquire their characteristic style from the diverse geology of the soils as well as gentle processing in the cellar.
