About the estate
The Hungarian winery Feind Pincészet was founded in 1995 by Lajos Feind on the shores of Lake Balaton and has been managed within the family by Zoltán Feind and István Bacskai since 2019. Today, the estate spans 130 hectares of vineyards within the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region, with the largest portion of the cultivation area located on the Öreg-hegy in Balatonfőkajár. The winery cultivates 20 different grape varieties and focuses its production primarily on aromatic white wines and rosé wines, complemented by red wines. Around 12,000 to 13,000 hectolitres of wine are produced annually and distributed mainly through domestic retail chains, the hospitality sector, and beverage wholesalers.
