About the estate
The Fattoria Il Palagio estate is situated on a typical Tuscan hill in Colle di Val d’Elsa and traces its history back to a property acquired by the Zonin family in 1979. The estate covers a total area of nearly 350 hectares, with approximately 100 hectares of vineyards located at an average altitude of 300 meters above sea level. The well-structured, heavily clayey soils are essential for securing water supplies to the vines during the warm summer months. In addition to regional classics such as Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti DOCG, Morellino di Scansano DOCG, Toscana IGT, and Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, the vineyards also host international grape varieties.
