About the estate
The Fattoria di Montechiari estate is located in Montecarlo in the heart of Tuscany on the historical site of a former fortress. The winery was founded in the 1970s by Moreno Panattoni and Catherine Pirmez, who reorganized the estate and planted international grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Pinot Nero, Merlot, and Cabernet. The vineyards cover approximately eleven hectares, producing five different wines with the collaboration of renowned enologists. Total annual production reaches about thirty thousand bottles, including an organic rosé sparkling wine.
