The company Emil Wissing GmbH, located in Oberotterbach in the Palatinate region, was founded by Emil Wissing in 1936. The business began with purchasing grape must and vinifying it into wine in Bad Bergzabern, before expanding and relocating to Oberotterbach in the following decades. Today, the estate is managed by the family through its executive management and continuously developed. Production includes the processing and aging of wines for private customers as well as for the food and beverage retail sector. An experienced cellar team is responsible for the vinification and quality of the wines.
