About the estate
The Emidio Pepe winery is situated in the rolling hills of Torano Nuovo in the Abruzzo region and continues a historic family tradition. Since 2020, the oldest plots have been vinified separately to study the genetic and geological characteristics of the soils for Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Avoiding filtration during aging has a long history at the estate. The maturation of the wines involves a careful and extended decanting process before they leave the cellar.
