About the estate
The Domein Walterus estate in Poederlee in the Antwerpse Kempen region originated from courses completed in 2010 and an initial test plot. The estate derives its name from the first historical lord of Poederlee dating back to 1209. The vineyards comprise three parcels planted in 2010, 2013, and 2020, which are surrounded by a naturally created microclimate of hedges and trees. Cultivated grape varieties include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Cortis, Sauvignon Blanc, and Solaris. Vineyard management and processing are largely manual and conducted as organically as possible, with artisanal vinification taking place on site.
The eno directory lists 5 wines. The estate sells to horeca.
