The Domein De Kluizen estate manages a 2.5-hectare vineyard located within the walls of the Maria Mediatrix Abbey in Herdersem. This enclosed plot features approximately 8,800 vines trained using the single Guyot system. The property focuses on mechanical weed control, organic fertilization, and maintaining a cover crop between the rows. Cultivated grape varieties include white and red varieties such as Kerner, Sieger, Optima, Schonburger, Reichensteiner, Dornfelder, Zweigelt, and an early variant of Pinot Noir. Alongside single-varietal wines, the estate also produces various blends.
