About the estate

The Domaine Zafeirakis estate is located in the town of Tyrnavos within the Tyrnavos PGI zone in Thessaly, where the family has practiced viticulture for over a century. Christos Zafeirakis represents the fourth generation of winemakers and returned to the property in 2005 after completing his studies in Athens and Italy, alongside practical experience in regions such as Piedmont, South Tyrol, and Tuscany. Upon his return, he planted the estate's first organic and biodynamic vineyard. The winery is widely recognized for reviving the native Limniona grape variety, alongside producing wines from Malagousia and Chardonnay. Its wines are exported to numerous international markets.

The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Malagousia and Λημνιώνα. The estate sells to importers, distributors and retail. Export markets include United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium and Germany.
