About the estate

The family-managed Domaine Virely-Rougeot estate covers nine hectares of vineyards located across the communes of Pommard, Beaune, and Meursault. The history of the winery dates back to Louis Virely, who settled in Pommard at the beginning of the century after taking over the property from his parents-in-law. Through subsequent marriages and acquisitions, the family expanded their holdings to include notable parcels such as the Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Arvelets, the Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes, and the Clos de l'Ermitage in Beaune. Today, the traditional estate is operated by Patrick and his wife, ensuring the continuation of the family legacy. The portfolio features various appellations from the Burgundy region.
