About the estate
Situated in the AOC Sancerre appellation, the family-run Domaine Serge Laporte estate is managed across seven generations in the village of Chavignol. Across a vineyard area of 14 hectares, the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir grape varieties are cultivated to produce Sancerre Blanc, Rouge, and Rosé. The parcels feature a diverse range of soils and expositions. In line with sustainable practices, the soils are tilled and chemical inputs are limited. Vinification takes place in a cellar built in 2012 featuring a variety of vats.
