About the estate

The Domaine Raffaitin-Planchon estate is located in Amigny in the heart of the Sancerre vineyards and looks back on a history that began in the middle of the last century. Spanning a vineyard area of 15 hectares, multiple generations of the family now cultivate plots across the adjacent communes of Bué and Amigny. The vast majority of the estate is planted with Sauvignon Blanc on the region's clay-limestone soils, while the remaining parcels are dedicated to Pinot Noir for red and rosé wines. In the cellar, the family crafts wines under the AOC Sancerre denomination, including emblematic cuvées such as Terre d’Argile and Les Griottes. Alongside viticulture, the estate also maintains traditional mixed farming on a small portion of its land.
