About the estate

The Domaine la Croix Montjoie estate is located in Tharoiseau in the Burgundy region, housed within a 19th-century building that formerly served as the farm for the Château de Tharoiseau. The winery takes its name from the cross at the entrance of the village, which historically marked the arrival of pilgrims heading toward Vézelay. The vineyards and the property are situated in a preserved natural setting at the foot of Vézelay and near the foothills of the Morvan. The estate produces wines under the protected designations AOC Bourgogne Vézelay and AOC Crémant de Bourgogne.
