About the estate
The Domaine des Planes is located in Provence on the hills of the Maures and covers a vineyard area of 30 hectares. The estate is run by the Rieder family and cultivates its vineyards on gneiss and mica-schist soils. Since 2009, the winery has operated according to certified organic farming guidelines. Grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Grenache, Tibouren, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sémillon and Rolle are grown here. The wines are produced in harmony with the surrounding Mediterranean nature.
