Domaine de Rocfontaine

About the estate

Located in Parnay within the Loire Valley, the Domaine de Rocfontaine estate has been farmed for three generations and is managed by Philippe Bougreau. The vineyards are set on clay-limestone soils and tufa limestone cellars in the Saumurois region. The portfolio includes various AOC wines such as Saumur, Saumur Champigny, Coteaux de Saumur, Cabernet d'Anjou, and Saumur Brut. Farming follows HVE certification, with eighty percent of the harvest done manually and vinification as well as aging conducted without the addition of sulfites. The estate's primary grape varieties are Cabernet Franc and Chenin.
