The Domaine de la Pouniere estate, located in Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher in the Loire Valley, was founded at the beginning of the 20th century and is managed across three to four generations. Spanning a vineyard area of 27 hectares situated on clay-limestone soils, the estate produces approximately 1,700 hectoliters of wine annually. Cultivation combines traditional methods with modern techniques to craft wines under the AOC Touraine and Val de Loire IGP designations. Vinification is carried out traditionally to yield supple and fruity wines. Distribution includes direct sales through an on-site retail shop.
