About the estate
The Domaine Beekborne estate was founded in 2020 and is managed by Patrick Carmans and Katrien Vanderschot in Neerheylissem. Covering 2.5 hectares of vineyards, the estate spans four unique sites featuring clay soils. The cultivated grape varieties include Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Chenin Blanc originating from French clones. Working in a natural manner, the winemakers use traditional methods and yeasts originating from their own terroir. The production focuses on Vitis Vinifera grapes, with wines distributed through a reservation system.

Le vin réalisé est un monocépage vinifié oxidativement avec une deuxième fermentation malolactique. Le surplus d'oxygène donne une couleur profonde de paille. Pourtant le vin est magnifiquement brillant tant qu'il n'a pas été filtré. Des goûts de pomme, fruits séchés...
