The family winery DeFratta was founded in 2022 in the heart of Istria in Tar, emerging from a generational connection to the culture of the grapevine and the olive. The estate encompasses its own vineyards, olive groves on Istrian red soil, and a dedicated cellar. The focus rests on terroir, varietal purity, precision, and wines characterized by a strong personality. The winery combines traditional foundations with a contemporary approach to vinification. In addition to wines, the estate also produces cold-pressed extra virgin olive oils.
