About the estate
The Crama Jelna estate in Cetate cultivates 26 hectares of vineyards with an average vine age of five years. The winery continues a centuries-old, dormant viticultural tradition in the Bistrița-Năsăud county that has roots reaching back to antiquity in Transylvania. The cultivated grape varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Fetească Albă, Fetească Regală, Muscat Ottonel, and Pinot Noir. The wines reflect the typicity of the Lechința origin, which is characterized by freshness, acidity, and refinement. Production is carried out under the Lechința DOC denomination.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc.
