About the estate
The Crama Darie estate is a family winery located in Topalu within the Dobrogea region, founded in 2009. The 29 hectares of vineyards are planted on the limestone-rich, sandy-clay soils of the hills in Horia, near the Danube. The local climate features long summers, mild winters, and cooler nights that help preserve acidity and freshness in the wines. The winery is currently undergoing conversion to certified organic farming and utilizes native yeasts for fermentation. The estate focuses on sustainable practices to authentically reflect the unique characteristics of its regional terroir.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Chardonnay.
