About the estate
The Coulée de Serrant estate in Savennières cultivates an exclusive seven-hectare vineyard that was originally planted by Cistercian monks in 1130. Owned by the Joly family, the property produces three wines in small quantities. The steep vineyards overlooking the Loire River feature vines ranging from 35 to 80 years of age. Due to the steepness of the slopes, the vineyard is worked partly by hand and with horses. Since 1984, the entire estate has been farmed using biodynamic methods.
The eno directory lists 3 wines.
