The Cooperativa Triasso e Sassella is a small association of wine enthusiasts dedicated to preserving the traditions of Valtellina. The vineyards are located in the Sassella DOCG zone within an alpine valley in northern Italy, where vines grow on historic handcrafted terraces. These steep slopes, supported by dry stone walls, require entirely manual cultivation and represent a striking example of alpine viticulture. The focus of production is on the native Nebbiolo grape, yielding authentic wines that reflect the local heritage. Visitors can also experience the estate through guided tastings directly on the premises.
