About the estate

The Conte D’Attimis – Maniago estate is located in Buttrio within the Friuli Colli Orientali wine region and looks back on a family history dating back to 1585. The 110-hectare vineyards extend across terraced hills featuring Eocene marl and sandstone soils, locally known as Ponca. The mild and well-ventilated climate benefits from the proximity to the Adriatic Sea and the protection of the Alps. The vineyards are cultivated according to the principles of integrated agriculture, and the estate produced its first bottled wines around 1930.
