About the estate

The Clos de Chozieux estate is located at the foot of the Forez Mountains on volcanic and granitic soils. The history of the winery dates back to 1970, when the first vineyard plots were planted on walled land. Today, the estate manages ten hectares of vineyards with five different grape varieties, including the region's signature Gamay Saint Romain. The portfolio includes eleven different cuvées marketed under the AOC Côtes du Forez and Urfé IGP designations. The viticultural approach combines traditional family techniques with modern winemaking methods under organic farming practices.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Gamay. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
