The Château Vieux Maillet estate manages 10.5 hectares of vineyards on the clay plateau of Pomerol near the Saint-Émilion appellation. This exceptional terroir consists of surface gravel resting on blue clays that retain moisture during dry periods. The vineyard is planted with 85 percent Merlot, 10 percent Cabernet Franc, and 5 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery is currently converting to organic farming and utilizes technological innovations such as intelligent drone spraying in the vineyards.
