The Château Mazeyres estate is located in the Pomerol appellation and cultivates a terroir divided into three distinct zones across the western and southern terraces. The soils consist of fine clayey gravel, sandy clays, and gravelly-sandy clays, characterized by a diverse mineral and organic composition. These specific soil conditions impart a unique texture to the wines, defined by finesse, elegance, and the pronounced velvety quality of Merlot.
