About the estate
The Chateau Vert estate in La Londe-les-Maures, Provence, traces its history back to the 17th century and has been managed by Robert Ghigo since 2010. The organically farmed vineyards are situated between the wooded hills of the Massif des Maures and the Mediterranean Sea on soils of schist and clay. Maritime influences and night-time freshness shape the climate, allowing a slow maturation for the grape varieties Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Carignan. The produced wines comprise fresh white wines, delicate rosé wines and complex red wines under the designations AOC Côtes de Provence, AOC Côtes de Provence la Londe and Maures IGP.
