About the estate
The Château Rollan de By / Château Greysac estate originated in 1989 with two hectares of vineyards in Bégadan in the Médoc and now spans 185 hectares through various acquisitions. The parcels feature a diverse soil mosaic of gravel ridges and are planted predominantly with Merlot, alongside portions of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Under the direction of Jean Guyon, the estate follows sustainable cultivation methods, and the vineyards have been certified since the 2018 vintage. Every parcel is harvested by hand and vinified separately to optimally express the character of the AOC Médoc and Cru Bourgeois Supérieur appellations.
