About the estate
The Chateau Maillet et Chateau Rocher-Gardat estate has been in the family since 1820 and is currently managed in the seventh generation. Patrick Moze-Berthon directs the properties alongside his eldest son Mickael. The first family property in Pomerol covers 4,57 hectares on soils composed of gravel, sand, clay-limestone, and iron pan. The portfolio includes wines from the Pomerol, Saint-Émilion, and Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellations. The winemaking approach involves selective harvesting, careful vinification, and maturation in oak barrels.
