About the estate
The Château les Mauberts Privat estate was founded in 2011 by Christophe Porcher with an initial area of five hectares and now covers 27 hectares of clay-limestone soils across the municipalities of Les Lèves et Thoumeyragues and St Avit de Soulège. Located within the AOC Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, the entire vineyard is organically farmed, with the oldest section cultivated this way for over 30 years. The vineyards are planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Following mechanical harvests in September and October, the estate produces red wines, including a sulfur-free version, through careful vinification and barrel maturation.
