About the estate

The Chateau la Rabotine - Alban Roblin estate is managed by Alban Roblin, who represents the fourth generation of winemakers and took over the winery in 2009. The estate encompasses 12 hectares of vineyards divided across 19 plots located in the communes of Sury-en-Vaux and Maimbray within the AOC Sancerre denomination. The vineyard soils consist predominantly of Kimmeridgian clay-limestone, calcareous caillottes, and ferruginous clay-silt-limestone formations. All wines are vinified on a plot-by-plot basis, reflecting the diverse terroir characteristics for the production of white, red, and rosé wines.
